What did you enjoy about the course?

I enjoyed the variety of learning different concepts and technologies on the course. Then as I progressed through the weeks, all of the different skills I had learnt came together to create bigger projects allowing me to gain a deeper understanding of the course material. I really like that I still have access to all of the coursework and can go back over it at any time, then also question my tutors if I need too.

What did you find most challenging?

The most challenging part of the course was keeping up to date with the study at home aspect of the course. It can really set you back in lectures if you don’t get time to work outside of class. Once settled in on the course it became easier to set your working pattern but you can never claim back time missed. I’d say by setting out a clearer working pattern around your commitments from the beginning it will be far easier than playing catch-up.

What would you like to do next?

My next step is to take part in a Hackathon. I’m really interested in learning more about Fintech and developing my own product, my first Hackathon will be this month at Bankofapis.com

What would you say to somebody thinking of applying?

To anyone thinking of applying I’d say think carefully about any commitments you have coming up during the duration of the course. Do as much research as you can before and during the course and enjoy it!

Any other comments or feedback about the course?

The course brings a really enjoyable atmosphere created by the tutors and an open environment in which to ask really dumb questions.
