Since Graduating in October Manchester Codes have continued to support me in my attempt to begin a career as a Software Developer with interview prep
Jasmin
Another key beneficial part of the Manchester Codes course which is often overlooked by those learning to code, is the opportunity to work closely with other students and to collaborate on work throughout the course. Pair programming/working closely with others collaboratively is a key skill to master that will make working as a developer much easier.
Scott
Full-time bootcamps were out of the question as I could not afford to give up working full-time, so Manchester Codes was the perfect option. The course is intense and is a big commitment (the 20 hours per week of independent study the course recommends outside of lectures is a realistic expectation), however it was worth every hour and every penny.
Aishah
The tutors are really helpful, approachable and have the very up to date knowledge on development so no questions went unanswered.
Dan
A new career is literally 6 months away if you start today. You will be hard pushed to find a course that returns what this one does in the amount of time it takes to complete.
Jacqui
I really liked the wide range of topics we covered, there was a curriculum to follow which meant the course progressed at a fast pace and each week we were learning a new concept.
Brad
As I progressed through the weeks, all of the different skills I had learnt came together to create bigger projects allowing me to gain a deeper understanding of the course material.
Miguel
Having friends that did a similar bootcamp in other schools, I always felt, in comparison, that I was not just another head in the crowd.
Holly
I am 4 months into a Junior Front Developer role and really enjoying it! I got the job offer on the day of our cohort’s graduation.
Joanne
The teachers/mentors and my classmates are fantastic. If they can teach a nurse how to code, I reckon they can teach anybody!
Luke
Command Shift was a life changing experience for me. You are joining a community of helpful likeminded people always willing to help.
Amy
The tutors were a great support too, incredibly patient, and explained concepts to me multiple times if I was struggling to grasp them.
Ian
As a teacher, I am not able to be flexible in my working hours so being able to attend evening lectures and work through the curriculum in my own time was very attractive.
